I got 4.7 a couple weeks back. I absolutely love it! amazing boat. Quick, good turning radius and easy to paddle. my only qualm is the rudder pedals. I'm going to have to move them forward a few inches. then again i don't think anybody else would have that problem. (I'm ~6'10)

If I was in the market for a "real" kayak (you know versus a Hobie)
that's the one I would get!

I loved my ok manta and if I had the coin to fork over, then that 4.7 would be mine. Really impressive how much thought that was put into the design and features that that thing offers. my next statement may get me lynched by this community, but my opinion is that hobies are not truely kayaks but more peddleboats, just look at hobies new tandem model belowhttp://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...0c63a09e-1.jpg
