I'm not sure. Never been out there with anyone from BWE. I'm actually not bringing a radio out with me. Last Thursday I went out cuz the wind for the weekend was gonna suck and somehow or another the "waterproof" bag my radio was in turned out to not be very waterproof so I sent it back in to Midland for a replacement. If anything I'll bring my whistle or scream real loud :D

Save your money and make the bait yourself, there's been more than enough of it in the harbor by the lighthouse. So far, the wind report for Sunday is looking good but we all know that it can change in a heart beat. I haven't bought bait from the barge in my last 10+ fishing trips at Cabrillo. If you want to save time buy the bait, but if you're looking for a challenge and want to 'earn it' get your sabiki rod and make it happen.

What do you usually catch? Last time I was using the small foil like sibiki, and small shrimp ones, I caught about 50 mackerel. I rather get some chovies or sardines. That was in the kelp though.
