When it's warm and you're not wearing waders, you CAN jump off your boat, hold the aftmost handle, and use your body as a kind of sea anchor. Boat will track straight and pull you through the surf zone pretty quickly.

Try going in backwards. Basically go back in the same way you went out. Let the waves push you on the beach but do the same routine you do on the way out. I turn over 97% of the time landing my PA. Use to it now. But learned to come in backwards. No more flipping

especially a rope could easily entangle you. high probability around your neck. bad idea. secure everything . stow everything.

when I was new with me PA , someone suggested coming in backwards. tried it , and never looked back.

There is no surf landing for me,, its about bailing out and holding on the back :D
