Dude I don't know where your coming from but save your gas. Theres nothing going on in newport except lots of bait. I spent the whole day yesterday throwing every color I had plus soaking a 'dine the whole time. If you are gonna launch you can use mothers beach public swim area at the end of balboa peninsula, or the coast guard station is your coming from the south as its on the other side of the harbor.
P.S. Its not just that I suck at fishing. Nothings been coming out of nph |
awsome! keep us posted, Im always up to fish NP!

Then whats happening in LJ?
|
Dont get me wrong, I live here in NP and im always down to have good times on the water but im still a bit bitter after 3 consecutive skunks out here. Plus easter sunday was so blown out with boat traffic I spent half the day sponging wake water out of my yak. I think the doldrums are hitting hard everywhere right now and ewe wil se some better fishing in about a month.
|
June - July is typically the best months for NPH,I too was there.stoked when i made four dines on the sabiki.Drifted from the CG station to the pavillion on a ripping tide with no takers. That has never happened before.

I'm sure none of the guys that fish LJ have answered you because they're to busy catching WSB. According to Stinkymatts super duper secret cia special ops men in black intel there are so many wsb in LJ that you don't need a rod and reel, just take your gaff. |
