Great job mijo! That new hatch is soooo much better than the stock hatch.
|
Looks good Jorge....I wish I could do that on my Revo.
|
So, Does that hold a Six or Twelve pack??? A little dry ice....
Nice Job Jeorge.. |
Nice installation pictorial! Do you have anatomical clearance issues when you access the hatch while underway?

Other than measuring sixteen times and cutting the hole smaller than what I actually needed and than making larger until it was cut to size the only 'clearance' issue you need to keep in mind is that you should setup the hatch so that it opens away from you and not towards you. I'm sure it will require a little more clearance than the round hatch did but the storage benefits should/will out way that issue. I'll have to admit that I was nervous at the beginning but once I cut into the kayak there was no going back. |
I prefer cutting holes in other people's kayaks..........less stress! :D
Nicely done! |

Way to go team sewer...!
That is the nicest porta potty I have seen George - excellent job!!! -and it even has a removal bucket for easy disposal...
|
You're helping me to get the guts up to try something like this on my Prowler.
|
So, approximately how much would OEX charge to do that to an Outback?
