In my opinion probably not. But i think all the blem sales have kinda killed the used market right now. I have been trying to sell a yak for 2+ months and have kept lowering the price with no sucess, even craigslist has not been getting any intrest so just keep trying and you will sell it someday.

If I had the storage space for the longer kayaks I'd have already called ya!
as danjor mentioned, lots of variables. Sales,Season,Economic concerns for next year, also I've noticed a lot of the kayak rental outfits selling off the rental fleet. They're not as nice as yours or setup to fish but they are giving them away before the year ends to take the business tax write off and buy new replacements in Jan. while it's still off season.Plus you always have those who want only new to set them up exactly like they want, plus get some warm fuzzy feeling of a warranty card they most likely won't need. It's a nice ride at a good price, hang in there as long as you can. Maybe go fishing! :reel:

Nope...I figured I'd wait til summer and see what happens...to be honest I'm prepared to get stuck with it...it's a nice addition to my pro angler...in case I feel the need to paddle again. :the_finger:

No i'd never spend a grand on a used yak :D but he should have taken the $1000 offer if he's asking $1200.

I wouldn't either...I'd buy one of these:
http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...Fishing/Detail

At $1,900-ish after tax it's a much better deal...you get way more for your money...look at all the extra accessories you get that you don't get with mine. Mine may look brand new and you probably couldn't tell it's been used more than twice but because you know it's been used 7 times I'd totally shy away from it. You know these things depreciate atleast $100-$120 each time you paddle them for the first 7 outings. I'd say it's easily worth $700-$900 more to be able to say you were the first to paddle the 'new' one.

You get more with yours! another battery, 2 more rod holders, the console, you did all the running around and it's turn key ready to fish. :D
