My Bad does anyone really know where does Long Beach ends and San Pedro begins and why do they pronounce it San Peeedro.

bus kid 01-08-2013 03:53 PM

it depends on the wind direction and tidal flow.
Thanks again for setting up another trip!

mtnbykr2 01-08-2013 03:59 PM

would love too, but that is too close to the Islander trip for me...I am sure it will be a great one though

jorluivil 01-08-2013 04:00 PM

If I can get the days off (once they're posted) I'm in. I'll explain it to my wife later. Later later

Biggameaddict 01-08-2013 04:22 PM

Time to refund the islander trips! Lol.

romspacenut 01-08-2013 04:32 PM

Andy, can you see if they would allow a 16 Hobie Adventure?

If I thought for a minute that this would impact the Islander trips, I'd pull the plug in a heart beat. This is something else altogether :D

Any word Yet?

I need to get over and do a walk around the boat and figure how it all will work. the boat was built by Blackman and sits low to the water, should work well for the kayaks. I just need to find a day to run over to 22nd St.

Mothers Day did not work well on the Pearl as we came up way short of people, so I may need to try another date.

Sounds like this would be a good warm-up trip leading up to the 2.5 day trips on the "Islander".

Iceman 01-23-2013 03:51 PM

The SBI ridge on a kayak waiting on a WSB ripper sounds like good times to me. Add me to the PA's looking for a ride list.

PapaDave 01-24-2013 07:10 AM

Depending on the dates, I am interested.

MrPukaShell 01-24-2013 12:59 PM

I would be interested in this one.

crazyfishnfool 01-24-2013 02:55 PM

Lets do this

Sound like a lot of fun and this could be my last good outing before my 3rd son is born.

bus kid 02-25-2013 06:02 PM

Any word yet?

Iceman 02-25-2013 06:22 PM

no news.........stand by :D

Iceman 05-06-2013 10:35 AM

Update!

If you were one of those that expressed interest within this thread, then you were invited on a shakedown trip I have booked. I filled the boat before finishing those in this thread. We are going June1,2, the boat is full, if you want to get on a standby list for this, let me know as the unforeseen sometimes keeps people from making the trip.

If all goes well I will be booking 1 or 2 more trips this Summer. We are bringing 2 PAs, this trip will determine whether PAs are allowed on future trips. :D

Dave k 05-06-2013 11:08 AM

SBI

Hey Andy, can you please add me to the list for the shakedown trip? What is the approximate cost?

Thanks
-Dave

Iceman 05-06-2013 11:09 AM

Dave, $395, as I said boat is filled, will put you on standby list #1 :D
