transition to a kayak
 

So I am in the market to get a new fishing craft and am coming off a 14' inflatable with a 45hp on it. It was my first boat and I liked it, but it is a money pit and a pain in the butt.

My question is have any of you gone from a boat down to a kayak and taken to it very well or is the withdraw of not having a motor too much. Oh and I love fishing the kelp so thats what I would mainly do, and search for larger species.

more success on a kayak. The fish never know whats about to nail 'em!

I would never leave a boat for a kayak but I would leave a kayak for a boat. Seriously, can't beat a kayak for kelp action.
