New to kayak fishing and looking for a used kayak!!!!!
 

How's it going, my name is CJ and I'm new to kayak fishing and have been a few times and absolutely love it. I'm hoping someone has a used or extra kayak wouldn't mind parting with. I'm looking for something w/ a paddle, a seat and hopefully some pole holders and a hatch or two. I've got about $500 bucks to work with and am willing to pick up anywhere around southern california, southern nevada, or eastern arizona. Please help me out if you can, I think this is a sport I can really get into, but dont want to buy new yet. Thanks alot, and keep fishing, CJ.

Either you travel quite a bit or drive a car/truck that gets like a gazzilion miles per gallon because I don't know anyone that would driver to Nevada let alone Arizona to pick up a kayak for $500.

Anyway, welcome to the nut factory! I'm sure you'll find something in no time. You might also want to check Craigslist, that's where I found mine.

Be more realistic and talk with the guy with the T 160 loaded and with clothing even ! Perfect color and quite a venerable kayak. It's in the For Sale section of the board now. Sure you can probably save $200 in gas right there.

Yeah, i live in so cal and wok in Arizona, paying for the gas anyway so i figured I'd widen my search range. Been trying w/ Craigslist but not having much luck. I need to get to the fish, the shore just aint cuttin' it.

I brought my kayaks to work in needles so we could fish Topock and the river after work and CJ was hooked! Now get your own Yak!!!! :cheers1:
