This month was all about fighting yellows and spending long hours looking for that just right halibut!

This is my personal best yellowtail

29 lbs 8 ounces. caught on live bait on 8/21

.and my halibut was a personal best. Wait I mean the first legal halibut for me. she was 29 inches caught on live bait.

to bad she was only 9 lbs 10 ounces....

NEXT MONTH...

Bummer!! I had ones of those Hali's in July, came in just short of 10lbs. Nonetheless, good try and I'm sure you'll get it next time!
