Super Seeker Ulua 10' with a Newell s332. The rod is wrapped deck hand style of course but using very small diameter sine cord you can still fit a narrow reel on it. This is a great combo and I just serviced the reel. It has very good drag and crazy free spool. The rod retails for $415 + tax and the reel retails for $189 + tax if you can find them in stock somewhere.

hey why is there a shortage?

Newell was purchased by Valley mfg. after Carl died.They are still working on getting there production up and running. People have speculated they may be unsuccessful. Which sucks for all of us Newell fans.
