I still don't believe the wsb, I didn't see you catch anything other than bait.
It was a beautiful sunrise, I didn't pay much attention because I was still laughing about falling in past the minimal surf.

Nice going on the WSB! I spent a couple hours stalking that school on Sunday but couldn't get them to go. Still managed to scratch up a healthy stringer of rockfish though.

I'm going to miss that spot!

Lucky for you (and me) your buddy Dustin got to fish next to me on my double, it was a big cluster F&*k. Two WSB on at once, my poor skills, you can imagine.

Nice job powering through the 6 inch surf...."flipper"

What's even better is I was already through the surf I just fell out while paddling. This new Tarpon is a lot easier to fall out of than my xfactor.

Gorgeous pic!

Beautiful photo. I'm San Diego born and raised and I still can't believe this is our December. Then again, I don't believe our May and Junes either. Better luck on the next WSBs.

dorado50 01-01-2012 04:35 PM

I'm surprised you didn't get any pics of the wsb...what happened? You dropped the camera in the water right?

StinkyMatt 01-01-2012 06:09 PM

When you catch sub sized fish many people don't take pictures. Just as I don't usually take pictures of 18 inch halibut.

I'm sure you photograph all the short fish you catch....

Having my friend next to me cheering was perfect for me.

Dorado50....I think you are struggling with the meaning of the word INTEGRITY.

Look it up. Its not that big of a word.:D

jorluivil 01-01-2012 07:38 PM

Thank God I took a picture of that Lizard that.

roby 01-02-2012 07:05 PM

Great picture....I really wanted to fish Malibu one more time since I did so poorly there a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad you guys made it home safely.
