How To Remove a Fishing Hook
|
Thought I was watching Jack Ass for a minute. Talk about taking one for the team. I have heard of this technique but THANKFULLY have never need to use it. Mike

I wonder if that works with hooks that have larger sized barbs

Nice ! I like both vids! I think trebels would suck to get hooked with. Especially if you grabbed it like the second vid was talking about. could you imagine a trebel in your palm then you grab it and now its stuck to your palm, pointer finger and your pinkey! omg... that would so suck balls.

I can tell you from personal experience It does. I have had a treble, surface jighook, 4/0 and 2/0 removed from hand and it didn't hurt went back to fishing.

I buried a hook in my hand at La Jolla one night, but couldn't remember the Technic, so I had to drive all the way home to riverside with a 2/0 hook in my hand, fire up my computer, watch several you tube videos on the subject, then was able to painlessly remove it. Worked good
