It's time to add to the arsenal. Bought all the components today and will put her together tomorrow. I hope it goes together soon. My 4year old thinks I am making an aquarium for her fishes.... Little does she know :the_finger:
Oh, and thank goodness I won't have to worry about the ants  Dan |
Don't moralize her to bad when you say "Yes this is a fishy tank" and when you come home she sees the fishy tank full of big fishys and your cutting one up and eatting some sashimi!!!:D

Pet Food Storage (6.5 gal size) : $31 Bilge Pump $22 Pelican Dry Box: $20 6v 7a Battery: $21 2 90degree PVC elbows male & Female $4 2 1 1/2 PVC for outtake: $6 3/4 threaded pvc and cap for drain $3 Toggle Switch w/ waterproof boot $10 PVC Tubing $10 Extra Wire $6 Screws & O-Rings $10 plastic handle $2 I already had the Bilge, Battery,Handle and Switch plus some of the PVC so I am estimating those prices from when i got them a while back. On quick estimation about $150 or so. I am sure I could have gone cheaper with a bucket and a cheaper dry box but I didn't :) Dan |
Add a couple hook rings so you can use something to secure it to the kayak, also I would suggest buying a plastic 3 rod holder and strapping it to your bait tank. Definetly is handy. Almost there...good luck

I dont know what kind of yak you have but my xfactor would not seat this style container very well. My tankwell does however have a square fitted section for a milk crate and these containers fit perfectly snug down inside of one if you put your intake fitting hi enough. You can also mount your rod holder bank to the crate which I think is alot more solid incase you take a swim.
