Wanted: Some combo of inexpensive boats for family of 4
 

I've a coworker who has two young boys in grade school. They're interested in yakkin' around Alamitos Bay, California etc.

They can't afford new or a used Hobies, or new anything quite as technical as full-on fishing yaks etc.

If anyone here has a line on some "fun" boats or old "good" yaks, please personal message me here and I'll email her.

They were thinking tandems, and I suggested "maybe" but that the boys may want their own . . . as they age and mom and dad might not want to have to hump around a big tandem.

If you've got old knock-about fun boats, they might want 'em.

For now, I've pointed them at Alfredos in Alamitos Bay and OEX Sunset Beach.
