Parking at LJ
 

Where is the parking at LJ I am thinking of going Friday?:linesnap:

At the end of Ave De Playa is access to the beach. you may drive onto the sand to unload or if you think you might get stuck in it, you can unload at the entrance to the launch area. There is a large parking lot just north of the launch. Can't miss it. you may want to bring your wheels with you if you have them. If you get there real early, the parking lot is closed but if you go to the exit, you can get in. Other option is to find a place on the street.

is this parking lot metered or free?

Free. If you get there early its easy to find. 6am once anything pass that stores open

i'll take dibbs on the rental parking :D

and make sure not to leave anything in plain sight, in the bed or in the car,

If you look at the forum LJ webcam. There is no one around at 0730. So parking should be fine.
