Is it Lowrance or H Bird?

it's lowrance elite 4x dsi. thanks!

It will fit as it is about the size of a 410 shotgun shell. You won't get the full potential readings shooting from the inside out though. Lowrance recommends mounting it externally.

This is how i did mine and it works perfect. Many beach landings and not a scratch so far! http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=14968

it should have come with a bracket. depending on the kayak, you can mount that thing to the back where a rudder would go. nice flat area. easy to do on malibu yaks.
