I'm visiting relatives in San Diego next week (from Fresno) and would like to get out on on the water, but the forecast looks marginal, at least for the first few days of next week...Anyone have a crystal ball? I'm trying to decide if it's worth hauling the yak and associated gear along with all the holiday stuff, family gear, dog, etc.
Any insights are appreciated.

Stupid weather

You know that if you don't bring everything the weather will be beautiful and if you do bring everything the weather will suck. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

depends what "worth it" is to you. you just want to get the yak wet down here and fish? hit SD bay. should be good or you can squeeze la jolla.

plenty of rockfish species to go around and halibut O'plenty in the bay.
