heavy laden

i was thinking of switching to pro 12 . i have revo 13 and had the outback already. i weigh 170 , so i estimate around 250 lbs with gear . the revo is great yak , probalbly the best all around. but with the weight i am carrying , i was thinking of something with a little more displacement. any inputs or suggestions . i think if you were going ultra light , the revo would be awesome . but since , i am a beer drinker , and carry a 12 pack and, or over the hill, i feel sluggish after 4 -6 hours on the water . is this normal ? would switching over to pro help me carry more beers? :cheers1: anyone with similar experience with trade off and have input, i would appreciate it . thanks.

does anyone do demo / rental ?

with the pro?

Option 1
Carry less fishing gear and more beer. :cheers1:
Option 2
PA plus all your current Gear and more beer. :cheers1::cheers1:
Option 3 keep all your gear and forget the beer, remember you got into Kayak fishing, not Kayak drinking.
Option 4
fish with other guys who bring beer and drink theirs. :the_finger:

Call up Andy at OEX Sunset I'm sure he can rent you a PA so you can try it out.

you read my mind.

problem is , most guys quit drinken .:cheers1:

Option 3. Seems to be the most common.

get a Banks board and tow your beer, or slap your keg in an inner tube and party away!

It is difficult to keep a PA strictly for demo/rentals, so I just offer demo days to try em out.........I'll post one up in the very near future.

if you get a PA you can make a badass trailer to tow a keg:cheers1::cheers1:

I had a Revo for about 3 years and last summer I switched to the PA 12. The PA is great for open water and over all I am happy with the change. I am able to spend alot more time on the PA without my typical back pain.

Thx

I was hoping to get an opinion from a user that switched. Thanks.
