SD Bay

Launched at Shelter Island at 0700 and fished till 1530. Micro anchovies or large sardines the choice at bait barge. I took the sardines. I drifted over to NAS Coronado and spent most of day there drifting from channel into the shallow water against rocks. Two stingrays that was it. I did not see much bait at all on the lowrance, no diving birds, etc. I talked to a diver who spent most of day free diving and he said he did not get any shots off. He reported kicking up a couple stingrays himself. I did get a workout. Good luck to those fishing this weekend. If I go this weekend it is going to be Coronado Bridge or LJ.
