that round hatch looks like its right behind the seat... so if we have a bait tank there's no way to get into it on the water...

MrPatrick 06-19-2013 04:46 AM

No, the modifications are not for an internal bait tank. I asked Morgan if he was "game" to hear some ideas I was "tossing" around ;).

it might be what some of us have been waitibg for.... the super outback 3k

MrPatrick 06-19-2013 05:32 AM

No, this is a PA. It came about after "casting" ideas about. The modifications to the PA were massive weight reduction.

hope they moved back that rudder system and the rear hatch up a bit. The old one basically just act as an access point

That rear hatch makes a great place to mount your FF battery! Since there is no other good use while on the water....

I got the idea frome the innovations thread - works like a champ!

mines a 10.5ah... it fits. still wont power my FF for 20 hours. so if they move it forward i can't change the battery on the water.

I can't get to it where it is now, the hobie bait tank sits on half of the hatch.

Hint, look at the words in quotations.

how much does it weigh? can a single person load it on the roof of an SUV?

Pocoloco 06-19-2013 08:47 AM

Its a modular. 2 or 3 piece?

MrPatrick 06-19-2013 09:21 AM

Single person can load int an SUV. Haven't weighed it yet. One piece.
I'll give the story behind it shortly.
