I am heading out of Newport with my roommates early morning tomorrow. Going to head south towards pelican point/crystal cove kelp. Depending on how that goes possibly try to find some rockfish out at the canyon. Probably launch from kids beach 4-430 if you want to meet up :D

x2 my dad and i had pretty much the same idea but launch from corona or just straight out from CC

HB flats, launching from Bolsa Chica south end near the river mouth.
