I would cut off all of my fingers sharpening and polishing that blade.

There is a lot of pride involved when hand crafting something. The knife looks nice and I would be proud of it if I made it.

Having said that.......25 bucks at BIG 5.

:D

Easy method to make a great knife. Buy a okay knife, take a few hours and hand sharpen it, and now you have a great knife. Learning to properly sharpen a knife by hand with stones is a great skill to learn and it takes time and patience and a steady hand but it is worth it in the end. :)

In this day and age of full automation, and I want it yesterday on a silverplatter why isnt anybody posting a report attitudes, the craftsmanship time and technique he used was very impressive. Not to mention that the finished product was nothingless then bad ass. thanks for the link.

Some of those custom made knifes go for $300+. I know of few guys who make a good living from knife making. If you into hunting and outdoors and like a good knife. There is a huge difference between what you buy in a store and custom knife.
When you handle one you never look at a knife from a store same way again.

I watched guys in Central America make machetes out of old leaf springs. No power tools used.
