Torium 30?
Was wondering if anyone has a Torium 30 for sale in the San Diego area
I'd go saltist. They use more metal. I've owned both and have to service the toriums much more. They aren't sealed as well as the daiwas. I like the drags better too.
Is it the saltist 30h
I think the 30h is a little smaller reel than the torium 30. Try the 35h
Copy that. I notice the saltists are cheaper than the toriums. If its a better reel than shoot I'm on it. Ill def look more at the star drag also. I'm not into the lever drag especially when I have a fish hangin
I have both and I like the feel of the saltist better.
Well if anyone out there has a used one in my area let me know. Thanks for the help guys!

So guys what saltist is the equal size to the torium 30. I think I'm gonna go the daiwa route I just wanna get the equivalent
Got anything to trade? I have one that just got services and upgraded.
How much do you think it's worth. I have some gear I can look around
Is it a saltist or torium
Torium. Upgraded dog. Carbontex drags. Not really looking to get rid if it unless you have a hand on some avets or something else tempting...
Copy that. Yeah I've got an mxj but I want to hold onto it for a bit.
I suggest buying a Seagate 30 or 40. It's got a lighter spool than the saltiest and its only $140 or so new... Best bang for your buck and fishes very well. Holds up under bigger fish as well. I landed a 57lb Bluefin on one this season and it keeps on keppin on....
