Saw this on the wall at Bass Pro in Ontario. Look at the size if these monsters!!

Oh Yea, I remember as a kid some guy hauling out a BSB he shot in LJ Cove. Loaded into the back of a full size pickup truck, it was hanging out onto the tailgate.

Showing my age - Those were the good ol' days when I used to pull green and black abalone any time I wanted to out of the cove...

I think I'm going to try and bring back that sharply dressed fisherman look.

Those fish are still around. I saw one that big at SBI a while back. Couldn't imagine killing one now though. I's funny how things change.:cheers1:

Sure they are still around, but figure 4 fish that size on the same day from the same area. I've seen it like that on some reefs in Baja within the last 4 years, but with the roads now those days will soon be gone.

All the more for me to try harder to make it to Baja next year
