Anybody fishing La Jolla on the 7th or 8th?
 

I haven't been to La Jolla since they closed the launch. I'm still sans sonar but figure the kelp is still there and easy to find.

Anybody want to head out?

I may be able to join you on the 8th. I haven't been out there since summer!

If I had the gas money to go down there id be down. Ill probably be hitting up Newport. Maybe paddling all the way down to crystal cove and fishing the kelp down there.

How far of a padddle is it to Crystal cove?

And if I could fit two Kayaks on top of my Golf you could ride down with me LOL.

Looking at Google maps it seems to only be 2-3 miles... Crystal cove is a long stretch of beach.

What the heck . It's a pig . :D. Check on the weather easy , and pm if it's worth heading down there . I am off duty , and trying to decide where to go . I think the barometer is going to drop with 48 - 56 hours . Correct me if wrong .

Not bad got alot of bites couldn't get anything to stick early on then later they wanted to eat ended the day with 2 nice sized ones and my buddy got 1
