You're welcome. That's what I'm using on my revo for the hds5. Just noticed that it's in my avatar if that gives you any help with a visual. Not as close as I would like it but out of the way and easily visible.

Don't mean to thread jack but I have a revo 11 with HDS5 that I'm thinking install. Where did you put the battery? And did you drill any holes for the power line to ff?
I was going to make the portable ff like Iceman posted but the ff is too heavy to put on top of battery box. I rigged my other kayaks with extra power cable so I can use the same ff on all of them.
Thanks!

I coiled up the extra cable and zip tied it to the sail mast. The battery is in a cheap waterproof box bungied to the mast also. I run the cables to the unit out of the front hatch and just close the lid on top of them. I really didn't want to drill any holes if I didn't have to. I'm sure that it doesn't help the seal much but no water comes in under the lid.
