Boca grip or other grips
I've been looking at a lot of kayaking fishing videos and other fishing videos and I am really interested in getting a pair of Boca grips. I have found them on amazon but the 30lb grips and higher. I don't think I need a 30lb Boca grip. I found a "Boca like grip" with a 15 lb scale but I don't know if it's worth it. Something buying the good price of equipment is more worth it. Any suggestions?

I've got a fish grip, it floats yea but it's almost impossible to get into the mouth of a fish that decides to clamp shut. I'd never pay $150 for a Boca. I do have a Berkley Lip Grip though and for under $25 it's never let me down. I prefer the Lip Grip over the floaty fish grip.

been using a 20 dollar lip gripper, has held up just fine

I've been using the same berkley lip gripper for over 7 years, so it holds up well. However, I've been eyeing a real boga grip for sometime now. There are a bunch of variations of it out there, but hard to beat a gripper with an IGFA scale built in. If anyone wants to part with their 15 or 30, shoot me a PM.

Fish grip. Didnt get the glowing one but I have mine on a retractable cord so losing it would be difficult

Does the Berkeley have a scale on it to weigh the fish...possibly gonna go with the fish grip for yak and Berkeley for boat

You could just buy a digital scale Rapala or Berkley. The fish grip has a slot to connect the scale to it and you just deduct 5 OZ from the total. The digital scale can be bought even on e-bay brand new for less than the Boca or Berkley grips. Than you can use both on either Kayak or Boat and the digital scale is much more accurate.
