Santa Barbara Fishing

I am heading out tomorrow and am trying to narrow it down between Arco island, Summerland, or Ledbetter. Anybody have any info on Summerland? Looks like a great spot when I drive by, low surf and lots of kelp. Didn't see much on here when I searched Ledbetter but I assume there's a few guys that fish in that area. Just trying to get as much info as I can before I commit to making the drive up. It's all new territory to me but looks promising whenever I'm driving through there.

Refugio is better and productive. Fish south of launch from beach. Bottom fish and seabass possible. Easy launch also. Like easy that I beach launch with 2 kids on my kayak.

That looks like quite a drive though, especially for a day trip. Just to Santa Barbara puts me at a little over 2 hours

Long Beach harbor is a lot closer, and you just might see some familiar faces.
