Leffingwell?

Anyone interested in making a run up the coast to Leffingwell in the near future? Seen good reports of some nice Lingcods. Its on my bucket list this year. Would be nice to go up there with a few guys.

Where is that? Would be interested depending in how many days

jorluivil 05-07-2014 04:23 PM

We had talked about going back up there for a few days. When were you planning on going?

William Novotny 05-07-2014 06:18 PM

Long is one of my bucket list for this year as well. I'd love to road trip it up there

I close escrow in 2 weeks on new home so soon after the move. Could leave early and make it a day trip or camp somewhere sat night. I'm open to either.

Day trip from Wrightwood would be nuts if you wanted to get any fishing time in. Just got back from the Central Coast we did pretty well on the REDS.

Sorry forgot not suppose to get 80lbs of rockfish stringers.

Fat haul right there! Leff rips, and the launch is a blast when the swell is up.

Rambo 05-07-2014 09:37 PM

Those are some pretty hefty rockfish

That is Matt's Signature move, He is always falling on the water when he is about to get into the kayak or out of the kayak.

Either way funny! :you_rock:

When i get closer to a definite time/date i will repost, just seeing if there was any interest and it looks like there is. Tony's video is the place i am talking about, hopefully the seas are a little calmer!

HELLSTER INC. 05-08-2014 06:54 PM

Tony, where did you guys camp at?

jruiz 05-08-2014 07:12 PM

San Simeon state park. Be sure to have a level 5 sage and archer with you if you want to stand a chance at beating the other campers at dungeons and dragons. See stinkymatt for in depth tactics and game plans

Bert Vega 05-08-2014 07:28 PM

I would be down for a camping trip like that.

wiredantz 05-08-2014 08:40 PM

There is no water at San Simeon you have to bring your own water. Just FYI due to the drought
