Funny thing is she may get away with this. The simple fact is that both of these people had no business trying to kayak in 50 degree water, with no immersion suits, sit in kayaks with no spray skirts, no life jackets, during late evening, with heavy wind and waves. Sure she may have wanted this guy dead, but he helped by not being the least bit prepared. Any good lawyer is going to exploit that fact and she very well may walk, or at the least a reduced charge...

I think she may walk too, not helping someone is not the same as killing them.

I believe that they are looking into whether she tampered with his kayak. I read that his kayak had some holes in the bottom and the kayak was submerged.

Also there are witnesses that saw her enter the water is a most strange way as if to make it appear that she was trying to help. I find this to be a little fishy, but still, keep the other half happy, and everything will be fine.
