I'm looking for some table food rock fish, halibut my heaviest setup is a 25 lb Luna we have no ff so we go blind which is probably our biggest issue as to why we can not find and rock fish

Out of the two, I prefer launching dana landing, going through the channel, down south and fishing PT Loma kelp. Pick your times, and days to ride the tide and you will have a good time. Just look up once in a while to watch the south current. Ive almost ended up all the way down by PT Loma before. Kelp starts just southwest of OB pier. 40-80 FOW. Good luck.
