30# Penn Setup
 

Reel is a 320GT2: levelwind, star drag, clamp, 200+ yds of 60# braid over some 50# mono backing. Reel is clean and works perfectly.

Rod is an older Penn Sabre Stoker 870: 7' 15-40#. I just rewrapped it and it doesn't look great because the 5 minute epoxy resists getting that flexcoat shine (practice, practice), but it doesn't have to.

I think this is a solid 30# setup, and OK for 40#. It bends best with like 8-10# of drag.
