Malibu Extreme

I am currently looking at buying another Xfactor, but have been looking at the Extreme. Its lower profile is of interest to me as too its sideways mounted centre hatch.

The flatter bottom is of concern to me due to the conditions over here getting a bit rough sometimes as opposed to the Xfactors seemingly deeper keel, but could I ask anyones opinions here of what you think of them for offshore work, what they are like in the chop and swell, how they compare to the Xfactor, what you consider the pro's/con's etc etc or any other relevant info you think I may find useful.

I understand they no longer come with the closed cell foam inside??? was this a better design, or is the new hull better without the foam?

I am happy with my eXtreme off shore :paddleersmilie:
A rudder might be handy when it gets real rough but.
