Launched a little after 6 with two friends new to kayak fishing. Little wind, small surf with dolphins working the surfline smashing the water with their tales. Bait was tough to make, I wound up with zero macs and 4 'dine. Trolled out to in front of the highrise and the wind came up bigtime around 7:30 or so. From that point on the wind would back off, then kick back in. Tried the rockfishing thing and picked up enough for dinner. Only heard of one nice fish taken by a PBer. Back at the launch by 11 and the wind had come up to a consistent stiff breeze. Water conditions looked dirty inside, but a little cleaner the further outside you went.
