MLPA update??
 

Can someone tell me what the latest status of the MLPA is, and how it will affect kayak fishing in:
*Long Beach
*Newport
*Dana Point
*La Jolla

I am new to kayak fishing, and just found out about this over the weekend! Did I just spend a bunch of money and I'm not going to have anywhere to fish??

You can still fish for batrays in Mission Bay.

But only on days that end in a y. Here is the link to the South coast map. Click on MPAs, Arrays and Proposals at the top of the map and select the integrated preferred alternative to see where it stands. You can select each area identified and see all the restrictions associated with it.
