It was a great evening for me. I had little time to fish. So i paddled out at 6:30 pm and made bait, 2 live squrts. 7:05 im hooked up and taking a ride for 10 or so min. (LOVE IT) Got the little guy...

I finally got to go fishing. So Monday morning I got off to a later start and launched at 7:00. I worked 1 spot for an Hr. Then moved out to the spot that is none for getting them. 10 min. later BAM!...

Big bugs and 100lb. yellow tail. I wish it could be like that.
But we have it pretty good here with our 30 to 50 pound class fish right off our shore...

I push the boat & trailer out to knee deep by hand and it floats off.
Then i spin the boats nose straight into the surf and drop the anchor.
not to fare out if there bigger waves, in shallow....

Manta shrimp

I caught One that size in SD bay bait dock around 3:00 pm today.
and that's not all? A 10lb starfish, 1 octopus,
4 lizard fish and 1 short but. All on mega bait jig.

Big Squid in La Jolla for the new year

My buddy Joe and i went out for the evening bite. There were a few yellows out there but did not get one. I was over the canyon and dropped a blue & white tady 300 + ft. on the drop this drunken fool...

LA JOLLA Hanapa'a GETS 42 LB. GHOST

THIS IS MY FIRST WHITE SEABASS ON MY YAK. AT 42 LBS. THIS WAS ON 25 POUND TEST ON A DROPER LOOP OUT SIDE KELP 15 FEET DOWN. THIS FISH JUMPED OUT OF THE WATER TWICE. IT WAS A GREAT FIGHT!!!
