Ocean Kayak Big Game Angler $500 firm with bait tank and extras
This was my beginner boat and I have loved it for the past couple years. It was bought new from OEX in January 2009 (I am the second owner). I am a big guy and I can tell you this is a super stable platform with a high weight capacity that rides very dry. I have had zero problems with this boat even launching through the surf in La Jolla. It does have the normal scrapes and scratches on the hull, but no leaks, deep gouges, etc. The boat has been very well maintained. I spray it down after every use and it is stored indoors. I am selling it because I have another boat en route.
This deal includes the yak, a liquid fishing thresher bait tank (with 12V battery) with three mounted rod holders, a Scotty rod holder with deck mount, an extra Scotty flush mount on front, Plano box to store gear behind seat, Suunto compass mounted on front hatch, and four scupper plugs. I will even throw in all of the cool, high-speed stickers for free, but this deal does not include a seat or paddle. I don’t want to piece anything out. The kayak has a battery shelf underneath the front hatch and a transducer compatible scupper if you choose add a fish finder later.
