Malibu wet mount transducer?
I've been very impressed with several posters recent contributions of wet mount transducer installations. I have a old Malibu Extream that I would like to rig this way. These Malibus have a second layer of material inside thier hulls that other kayaks do not have. I have heard that this material needs to be removed for a glued in installation. Does any one know if the wet mount will shoot through the inside layer on these kayaks? The material appears to be almost like a foam and I'm concerned that any air in the foam would block the beam.
