I fish a 7'6" medium heavy Shimano Terramar with a Shimano Calcutta 400. I like 25 lbs test Izorline mono, or 65lbs test Power Pro in green.
For slugs and my larger kelp jigs I use a Avet MXJ MC loaded with 65lbs test spectra.
