wade need some help pls. I have hummingbird. I believe model is 597ci .somewhere around there. what they call duel beam. spent good money $$$$$ on it. whats your opinion with hummingbird as opposed to lowrance? im having issues with the unit. for example, sometimes when im on open water the unit goes haywire. wont read bottom and will show 30' when im in 180'. and also show a shallow water return displayed 3 times in one screen. in your opinion , is this a connection promblem or a head unit problem? I m ready to dump the whole yak , and start again.
. Ive replaced power cable already becuase I broke a pin when i flipped it surf. That was when I first started kayaking.
