Found @ LJ; Kelp Cutter Rig
 (in about 65 feet) while diving La Jolla yesterday. Estimated immersion time 1-2 mos.; still in working order.PM me with ID and its yours again. D. Out

He didn't mention any clicking sounds but he did report hearing the nearby dolphin pods.

with any luck the "Clicking" will be heard soon.
Underwater by the croakers and above the waterline the reel clicker...
