Newport Rocks 4/23/16
I wish I had more to report, but yesterday just didn't produce much for me. Got a red, sculpin, whitefish, and all you can catch white croaker, sand dabs, and giant lizards. Got a couple meals though.
![]() How do you guys like to fish the area? I was literally drifting around at different zones at 10' increments ranging from 140-250'. Managed the red thanks to couple of guys on PAs pointing to me the right depth. Thanks again if you're reading this! ![]() ![]() ![]() The winds weren't too bad either. It never peaked over 10 I believe until after I got off the water at 2. At one point it even went flat at noon. The swells though were a different story. |
