need help on first kayak
Alright guys i know know this question has been asked countless amounts but im going to ask anyway. I have been stuck in my float tube for a while now and im getting over being so limited..so ive been looking at some kayaks. The majority of my fishing will be saltwater so im thinking something a little bigger? I am 6 ft 165 lbs so i dont need a tank. I want to buy used with a bait tank (maybe a fish finder?) so tell me what you all think. Its my 18th birthday in april so i will be able to buy around then..looking to spend up to 850ish. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to BWE, go see Andy at OEX sunset, take a few kayaks out for a test paddle and see what you like.

yeah it like dating all over again. . .

Don't marry the first kayak you ride (like I did). While I'm happy with my x-factor, I often think of the slim yet curvy lines of a pedal drive Hobie. Often, I think how my adventures might be different with both hands free (sandwich in one hand and a cerveza in the other). |

I do believe your looking at a Kiyo Sato aka Baytuber kayak right there, If so, it has Mucho Mojo built right into it!

Any interest in a paddle kayak?
I got a blue Hobie Quest last year and am giving a lot of thought to upgrading to either an Outback or 11' Revo. I would sell it with the Lowrance X50 DS fish finder and RAM mount rod holder, but will be keeping my bait tank. Let me know and I will post some pics. I need to think of a fair price, but it will be well under what you are looking to spend. Happy 18th!
