God that was hilarious !!! I had a woman once that loved me for my passion for fishing .Then after 8 years told me I was certifiably insane when it came to fishing .Those were her last words to me .Then she drove back and forth over my 9 rods and reels as she left .I replaced them all with the money I saved not having her in my life . Upgraded all my gear .Thanks for giving me a reason for NEW equipment honey ,don't miss ya a bit . Now I have a woman who says " You should go fishing honey ,you need it .LOL

I had to look this up. Common Sense said it must be some high end gadget.
They look to Purdy to be used in saltwater! Looks like it should go on a Fast Italian car, Or one of those show Harley Davidsons, etc! Thanks again Wade for the laugh!!! Cowboybill

Yeah Van Staals are clsoe to the most expensive reels out there... they got a lifestyle warranty that i hear is great.

 I used to live on the striper coast. Never did get my 50. I did have a Van Staal 200 on a Lamiglass Ron Arra 1084. Sold them to finance my yak out here
