I never used to be, but they've really turned things around in recent years. I had one of the VS-80a reels in Diego Garcia that took everything I threw at it. Caught numerous GT, hooked dogtooth tuna, yellowfin, etc. For the money you couldn't beat it.
Really like these things, it's going to be sweet on a G-USA CA65M I'm building if I ever get the rod finished. |
