How many of you using straight spectra? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I had 30lb spectra on my 300 for quite a while. I fished it straight. Never had too many problem. Its a pain when you get snagged, but I usually got my bait back, just with straightened out hooks. I stopped throwing it after I snagged a 75lb bat ray in the bay though. I could get my line to break and it smoked my reel. I had to rebuild it.
