I believe this unit was just officially released at a boat show this last weekend as far as I can tell by my conversation with the Marketing guys last week. May be hard to see one for a little bit.

As for size, the Lowrance 4" models are super popular. Smaller yes but at this price you will have a solid unit, but tons of guys have no issue with the smaller screens.
