That striped fish is a salema. They're in the grunt family like sargo. Salema are one of those fish that you see plenty of diving but don't catch often. I've had a couple guys tell me they are good bait for big calico bass. I've tried em a couple times with no success tho. Its always interesting to see some thing new in the local waters. Mike
