Some more meat for the freezer today. I had two more on which I did a remote release at the side of the yak. In other words, they got away. I foot wrapped a cormorant that was not happy with me and bit me twice while I was trying to untangle him. Once in the middle finger, which I was most assuredly going to use on him once I got him unsnarled, and once on the top of my hand. Rabid birds.
The road to the lighthouse was worse this morning so I drove around to the backside of one of the volcanoes on the bay and found a nice launch spot there. Unfortunately it was still a 2.5 mile paddle to the area that I have been fishing. Against the tidal flow heading out and against the tidal flow coming back.IMG_20170623_113145 (2).jpg IMG_20170623_151935 (2).jpg
